Some hanging pendent models do have computers built in. Our dealers and installers tell us please make the computer separate so that the customer could service it or replace it himself if need be. They prefer to be self sufficient and may void the warranty if they open the pendent. Even though we use a solid state hard disk, long term vibrations on a hanging pendent however small still cause the computer to have a short life. It's best if the computer and pendant were separate.
