Servo Magic is a newly released software and hardware product from CamSoft. Servo magic is a software application that uses CamSoft's CS-16600 motion board. Servo Magic is intended for CNC or factory automation applications that do not need the power of CamSoft's CNC Professional software based system.

The Servo Magic system can be used for servo motion control applications requiring one through six axes of motion. Alternatively, the Servo Magic system can be used in non-CNC, factory automation applications requiring only analog I/O, or digital I/O, or both. The Servo Magic system features a high speed, fully closed servo loop at the controller, rather than having the servo loop closed on the amp drive. The Servo Magic system also features automatic error position correction, without latency or random accuracy issues, plus unlimited G code program size. Additionally, the Servo Magic system features real time position display of the actual current position.

This system is suitable for two axes of coordinated motion, for slower cutting application. Machines such as flame cutters, lasers, water jets, tangent knife blade, wood routers or mills are possible candidates for this package. With this system, a single PC running Windows XP is required to be used as the Operator Interface and controller host for the CS-16600 card. CS-221
This system is suitable for up to six axes of motion, recommended for applications that require at least three or more axis of coordinated motion in 3D. This system consists of using two PC's together. One PC will be required to function as the CNC Operator Interface. A second PC will be required to function as motion control host using the CS-16600 motion card. You may supply your own PC's. The second PC must be running Windows XP with a minimum CPU speed of 3.2 GHz such as in an AMD Athlon II or Intel Core 2 to be used as a host for the CS-16600 card to increase memory size and performance.
